Digital Marketing Internship Batch 3 (Class 2) By Digital Deepak

Hello Everyone, This is Sandeep here currently an Entrepreneur working in Pharmaceuticals product. My plan is to expand my business digitally so that I can compete in PAN-India. After grabbing the course from our Guru Mr. Deepak Kanakaraju of Digital Marketing, I found the right path of success.

After successful completion of my 1st Assignment of Digital Marketing, I am here with my Second blog on “The Customer Avatar” which I learnt in my 2nd Class of Internship program from our Mentor Digital Deepak Sir.

The class starts with the simple principle which basic principle to start with Digital Marketing that one should follow.

The Golden Triangle

“When you teach, you understand things in better way”

The Golden Triangle depicts as learn>do>teach. When you learn something, it gets into your brain but not in an organised manner, once you start applying the information it starts settling in our mind. If you can teach others the things you have learnt in a simple manner  and make them understand that means you have understood the same very well. So, the process not ends at a point of learning.

You should not be afraid of failures. Failures are stepping stone to success. Don’t let one little mistake ruin your entire day just remember that it is the proof that you are trying and doing your best.  

Marketing is all about conversations.

Cory Doctorow, Blogger, Journalist and Author once said “Conversation is king. Content is just something to talk about. And conversational marketing gives your consumers to talk about”

You need to make the customers feel friendly, conversing them in a way to understand their requirements, their point of view. They must feel they know you already. You must be always connected to them as you can’t afford to lose the thread of communication. Joining the conversation with their mind can hold the thread of communication which will result in winning their faith.

Email Marketing

In the digitization era, Email marketing is the primary method of communication.  Personalized mail plays great impact over the receiver. While writing the message you must write it to a single customer though it will be sent to thousands. As your customer will read it alone, one must feel the mail has been personalized only for him/her.  We must connect with them with 1:1 communication.

  Therefore, Once you are good in conversation you also appear as a buddy to the customer. When a customer reaches us with a query or hiccup and if you are there to provide the support they need, the customer is likely to remain loyal to your brand as they experienced that you care about them. Customer love personalization and customization and they love it when something is made just for them. With conversational marketing we can provide personalized recommendations to consumers looking for it.

We can fake only once but to make a good relationship with our customer we need to be Real and Authentic. Sharing your Authenticity is the most Transformational Gift you can give to the world.

Awkwardness is an indicator of learning

The last but not the least important point that I have learnt in the class  to challenge own beliefs and thoughts the way one think or the things one already know. Finding new path can be awkward or uncomfortable one but it can be more effective way of doings things.

What is an Ideal Customer Avatar & How to create customer Avatar?

In Simple words Customer Avatar means to draft an artificial customer which represents the majority of your customers. If everyone is your Customer than no one is your Customer. It must be precisely known.

But what is the right way to figuring out the ideal customer?

Well, it is creating an IDEAL CUSTOMER AVATAR!!!

Taking guesses & assumption isn’t good enough anymore, and there simple isn’t any excuse for it.

To build a successful Customer Avatar we can use Survey method by placing some question in Questionnaire.

Hey Friends, meet my Customer Avatar named Sonu Sharma age 32 residing at Guwahati who is married with an Annual Salary Income ranging from 2.5 Lakh to 5 Lakh and living with parents. He is not purchasing medicines from E-Commerce site and is aware and has trust in generic Medicines.

Hopefully, this will help me further in searching of more customer avatar related to my field and expanding my business and going digitally. Thanks to Deepak Sir for enlightening a new way to search and identify customer base.

Digital Marketing Internship Batch 3 (Class 1) By Digital Deepak

Hello,

I’m Sandeep Jain, BE (Elec.) pursuing MBA (Pharma) from Guwahati, Assam working as Entrepreneur in sales and marketing of Pharmaceuticals Product with a start up manufacturing industry of Pharmaceuticals Product. I have been working for 8 Years in Electrical Construction Company of Guwahati. Later, I have started marketing of some Pharmaceuticals product in local market.

I have already launched some products of medicine locally as I am pretty sure that the products will have demand across the boundaries for which it requires proper marketing strategy. Therefore I wanted to upgrade my Marketing Skills. During this process, I got a recommendation by one of my friend about Digital Deepak, soon I started following him and I got attracted by reading his blogs and presentations about Digital Marketing. As it was related to my field which I was looking for so without a giving a second thought I opted the course of Internship of Digital Marketing by Mr. Deepak Kanagaraju. This was the best opportunity to learn closely and earn back as well.

Set Your Goal

It is rightly said by Karen Casey “One part at a time, one day at a time, we can accomplish any goal we set for ourselves”

In the session by our Guru Digital Deepak we learnt that setting Goal is very important to get success. Once we get our Goal set, we should start the right path to achieve the same.

  • Finding Your Niche

Finding your Niche is one step towards our Goal. In my case, it was to improve my sales and marketing skills and grow my business. It should be a combination of passion, talent and market opportunity. We should enjoy doing our Niche and always get better at it. The 3 major Niches: Health, Wealth & Relationships (+Fashion). There will be always new demands as the market keep expanding.

A Small Mantra to Earn 1 Crore INR is to get 1000 Customers who willing to pay 10,000 Rupees.

How to Find Market Demand?

Market demand can be searched by:-

  1. Using Google Auto Suggest
  2. Answering various public posts enquired in ThePublic.com, Quora etc.
  3. Look for Amazon & Other E-Commerce Reviews
  4. Scratch your Own Itch
  5. Talk to customers
  6. Look for pre and post products/services of other products
  • Importance of Global Economic

Global Economics is immensely important when it comes to how to do business and to be successful in business. Many Entrepreneurs doesn’t learn about Economics which make them failure despite of having Great and Innovative Ideas.

The few important points about Economy are:

  1. The Economy of Country goes up when the average age of the country is 20-50 because people spend more in age 20-50. If the average age is above 50 the economy goes down because people take less risk and spends less.
  2. Debts create money: if we take loan from one bank and deposit in some other bank, the other bank gives loan to the other which increases flow of money resulting rising economy.
  3. If Economy comes down i.e. during recession strong company survives and week fails.

Communication plays a vital role for successful professional or entrepreneur. If we have all the skills except Communication Skill, we cannot survive in current market, so if we are not good in Communication skills, we should make commitment to improve it and we should fulfill all the commitment to achieve our Goal.

We have some key focus on communication and writing skills.

  1. Read a lot with simple books and move to complex ones.
  2. Thinking in English
  3. Listen to podcasts (30 minutes a day)
  4. Write a lot, the more we write, the better we can write, start with personal blog
  5. Watch English Sitcoms (The Office, Seinfield, Silicon Valley, Mad men, Friends, Breaking Bad & more).
  6. Watch stand up comedy shows to learn culture and local slangs.
  • Future of Digital Marketing

Digital Marketing will never come down or die because marketing will never die. It is only upgrading day by day. As needs and products keep going up, we will need ways to market them. As everything is been done digital and the entire world is moving towards digitization. The way of Consumer behavior is changing and moving towards Digital. Digital Marketing is the simplest and best way to do marketing.

Marketing + Technology = Digital Marketing

The Integrated Digital Marketing starts with content writing, we write a blog and promote a product, we do SEO, Email Marketing, Social Media, and Paid Advertising to get the traffic to it and the Sale is confirmed.

We will be learning more about all these in the next upcoming classes.

  • Personal Brand Creating

Building Your Personal Brand is another important step of success, and Mass trust is the main concept behind personal branding to have an influencing impact over the Consumers. There are some points on Personal Branding.

  1. The best known will always beat the best i.e One who can convince the customer can hold the customer.
  2. We should hesitate to put our content to fit in a frame. Fear of Standing Out should be given up.
  3. Disclosing our character and personality on social media.
  4. Publish content in different forms – with more content, you will ‘own more of the internet”.

Benefits of Personal Branding

  1. Your Style, Your Tribe.
  2. People want to hear from people, not from brands. “Jo Dikta Hai Wo Bikta Hai!!”
  3. You can get job, close a client or build your own consulting / training business.
  4. It’s cool to be known by other people. Build your own fame within a community.
  5. Write, Publish Videos, Do Public Speaking
  • Funnel Work in Marketing

Funnel is cone shape which explains all the steps of Marketing. The sales funnel can be divided accordingly to the different stages of sales process and customer buying behavior. It starts with Creating Awareness of the product which can be done by offering free to the Customers. Next Step is to create Interest on your product which eventually changes the decision of the customer to move towards your product. After winning the trust, the last step is the time of Action. Now you can offer unique solution to their problems in the form of premium products or service.
